Improving the experiences of people with disabilities is an individual and collective responsibility. Learning about Disabilities and Academia: Listening to User Testimony Users with disabilities often share their experiences so others can better understand how to remove obstacles. The OCUL Collaborative Futures Accessibility subcommittee (CFA) invites university and colleges that use Primo VE or Alma to come together to broaden our understanding of users by watching and discussing parts of the 2024 ArXiv Accessibility forum. As a group, we'll watch parts of "Deaf Hub at RIT," a presentation about the ways deaf and hard of hearing researchers navigate academia, followed by parts of "Sonification," which explores multi-model research outputs in science that go beyond the visual.
