Dear Resource Sharing Colleagues,

The University of Alberta Library's Interlibrary Loan department will be transitioning to Alma Resource Sharing during July 2025, as part of our larger transition to the Alma LSP. There will be a service disruption during the transition period:

July 7 - July 16: No new requests processed. Please avoid submitting requests to us during this time frame.

After July 16, please request using the following systems (in order of preference):

Alma Resource Sharing
  • Please add the University of Alberta Library from the Community Zone as a partner, and contact ill@ualberta.ca to let us know. We will add Canadian libraries as Alma partners.
WorldShare ILL
  • We will continue our WorldShare ILL subscription and will be able to service requests through this platform. 
DOCLINE
  • We will continue our DOCLINE subscription and will be able to service requests through this platform.
Relais ILL
  • We will be transitioning away from the Relais ILL platform. If you have no other alternative, you may continue to send requests to our Relais ILL address/Relais webform for now. This will not be a long term solution.
