Dear colleagues, The Ex Libris DC User Group Meeting will be held on December 3rd , 2010 at the Health Sciences Center Building, Montgomery College, Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus. Please see the attached agenda and map for the Health Sciences Center (HC) location (off Georgia Avenue), parking information, accommodations and directions to the College. The address for HC is 7977 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20910. For online maps and directions to Takoma Park Campus and to see the location of the HC building please click on the following link. http://cms.montgomerycollege.edu/edu/secondary5.aspx?urlid=39 For the first time this year, campus security has agreed to let people park on campus since the meeting is being held on a Friday. For people who are driving to the meeting, you may park in unmarked student parking spots in the WG garage marked on the map. Please do not park in the marked staff/faculty parking spaces unless all student parking spots are filled. If you have any additional questions or need more information, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. I am eagerly looking forward to meeting all of you at the meeting. Dear Colleagues, The Ex Libris DC User Group Meeting will be held on December 3, 2010 at Montgomery College, Takoma Park/Silver Spring campus. This will be a great opportunity to meet, network, and exchange ideas with your colleagues. The meeting will offer sessions on Aleph, Voyager, and SFX/MetaLib. Ex Libris staff will attend and provide corporate and product updates. Online registration is now open. Please click on the following link to register. Please register early!!! Registration will close on November 29, 2010 http://www.surveygizmo.com/s/405051/ex-libris-dc-user-group-meeting-online-… This year we have a guest speaker Joan Lippincott, who will speak on the topic "Library of the Future". Joan Lippincott is the Associate Executive Director of the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI). CNI, jointly sponsored by the Association of Research Libraries and Educause, includes about 200 member organizations concerned with the use of information technology and networked information to enhance scholarship and intellectual productivity. Please note that the preliminary agenda is subject to change [especially the afternoon sessions]. Registration Information Registration will close on November 29, 2010 to enable us to finalize plans and make arrangements for the meeting. Please note that some afternoon sessions will be cancelled if fewer than 10 people are registered for any of the sessions. Conference Registration Fee (all registrants) is $25. This will cover costs for breakfast, lunch and break refreshments.
