Hello everyone,
Thanks to those who filled out the survey! It has been very helpful in
beginning the planning for our next Annual Meeting!
The majority of the respondents overwhelmingly requested that the
meeting take place in the fall in either September or October. Planning
is underway. I will be sending more details in the upcoming weeks to
keep you informed.
At this point, I would like to ask for specific information with regards
to the breakout groups that are planned for the afternoon. Please take a
moment or two and think about what topics you would like to a) share
with other regional Ex Libris sites and b) what you would like to learn
from other regional Ex Libris sites. If you have completed a noteworthy
project, or if you are about to embark on one, just let me know and I
will try to organize the meeting and breakout groups to help you with
your needs. Please reply to me directly from this email, and I can begin
to pull some ideas together for the program.
Also, as I am currently in touch with Ex Libris for planning the
meeting, let me know if there are specific questions you would like Ex
Libris to entertain. I know I have been viewing recent webinars on Alma,
and I have some questions about the future of Voyager/Aleph and will
Alma be the sole product we will be using.
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and I look forward to seeing
you at the Annual Meeting!
Best,
John
